LED Light Selection Question - Too many options

Okay, maybe this was a bad idea to do after smoking. I hope this is the right place to post, as the topic above is locked for me.

I apologize beforehand, this is going to be another I need help with lights post. I have done some reading, but it just doesn’t make too much sense. I guess I’m not too bright. If you see any other glaring holes in what I’m planning/saying, please let me know. I plan on doing a 4x4 grow tent for 4 plants.

The options I’ve been considering are as follows:

• 2 x 320W XL QB V2 LED KIT, $560/each ($1120 Total / 640W QB LED)
• 7 x QB96 ELITE V2 ENGINE, $130/each ($910 Total / I’m guessing 7*96W) | Do not with drivers?
• 2 x MEIZHI 1200W LED, $480/each ($960 Total / 2400W LED)
  • I have read that these do not actually draw the specified watts, but are supposed to be what they replace vs. HPS (unsure if I’m right about this

What do you think would be my best option? Again, if there any other better suggestions, please I’m all ears.

I would go with qbs, those boards you are talking about, if i’m not mistaken are 54vdc and can be driven up to an absolute max of 6amps but with the heatsinks in the set 4200 is the max. 54x4.2 = 226w. Hope i am not missing something i am getting this info from the hlgs site.
One of the drivers they recommend for 4 qbs in series is this,

• HLG-480H-C2100

So 54x2.1 = 113w x 7 = 791 w
I am not sure you will want to go that high in a 4x4, its your call of course and you can drive them at a lower current but i have recently finished a diy cob fixture with 18 cxb18s and they will draw a total of 500 watts and i think after a certain wattage, why spend that much money on leds you can go hps or cmh. I am posting a pic just to give you an idea, the alignment could have been better on the middle board but what can you do after you drilled the holes hope natural convection will suffice on the cooling front. They will be run soft at 700ma.

Not the meizhi other 2 are pretty much the same I don't think the QB96 comes in a kit so you will have to find your own drivers and other parts
