I think in general viparspectra has the edge, better uniformity.
Have some knockoff sf-2000s and they are pretty bad as single unit even in my seedling tent.
The uniformity is nothing to brag about even in a 3x2, tbh.

I wasn't sure how much better the new design with the evos and diode layout works.
Not trying to discredit SF here. these are really ok boards, especially for the price.
And since I don't really use the original ones my post might have sounded a little harsh.

Get the P2000, it uses lm281b diodes but the diode count is so much higher than the sf2000 Evo. I can't find the diode count on the sf2000 (probably because it runs insanely hot) but the sf1000 Evo runs 0.6w per diode, which is more than twice as hot as what's usually reccomended.

Does it really have to be one of these two? Neither of them is something to write home about imho. Youre better off waiting and budgeting a little more. A light that last 5 years is going to end up much cheaper in the end than a light that last you 2-3.
Evo diodes seems to have an upper hand in most cases but i dont like how limited they are on spectrum.

I've had some problems maybe with nutes. Some say it's burn, some said to add cal mag but it got worse when I did.
I posted a thread in plant problems called "Rusting leafs?" All the help is appreciated but a bit confusing.

The viparspectra xs2000 is a good light for seedlings to flower mine has served me well flowered a bunch of autos and photoperiods etc its good on its own and great if you need a boost in flower.
