LED lights not doing so good.

3 lights:

For 32.0 sqft, used for 12.0 Hours a day, using 3.0 LEDS running at 620.0 watts with an efficacy of 2.5 pf
TOTAL LED PPF output of 4650.0 μmol/m^2/s in a space of 32.0 ft^2 or 2.972896 m^2
Daily Light Integral (DLI) @ 1ft = 68 mol
Totaling at 58 Watts/ft^2
Total Power consumption = 1860.0 Watts/hour
Monthly power consumption = 679 kwh
Monthly Power Costs (NO AC) = 136 moneys. Anually: 1629 moneys
AVG PPFD @ 1.0ft = 1564 μmol
AVG PPFD @ 1.5ft = 1043 μmol
AVG PPFD @ 2.0ft = 782 μmol

Well... Unless you're running CO2 and perfect conditions you may be killing your powerbill and your plants, lol. You can definitely run just two of those and you'll still be doing more than great. They seem to be designed to cover a 4x4 each.

2 of your lights:

Daily Light Integral (DLI) @ 1ft = 45 mol
Totaling at 39 Watts/ft^2
Total Power consumption = 1240.0 Watts/hour
Monthly power consumption = 453 kwh
Monthly Power Costs (NO AC) = 91 moneys. Anually: 1086 moneys
AVG PPFD @ 1.0ft = 1043 μmol
AVG PPFD @ 1.5ft = 695 μmol
AVG PPFD @ 2.0ft = 521 μmol

WOW thankyou thats what i'm looking for, so then theoretically i should be okay if i ran them at say 70-80 percent @2ft, @1100ppm CO2, @ 87-89f as long as my the nutes are strong enough and the plants are healthy and managed. I'm not sure what i read but i think DLI of 68 is in the upper upper limit. i really wish i could afford a 2k$ light meter right now.

It sucks not know what MY exact numbers are at the canopy and not knowing whats really going on with my light intensity. but the times i just lost those plants i had the nutes way too weak i think. they WERE at 600ppm now i started them at 900 and so far only see positive results.

The biggest thing for me was CAN i use 3 lights like this at 20-24inches and still get extreme result outs of them like i was with HID lights. I would like to add i have not been turning them all the way up. i control them by PWM digitally

this is what i watched

So based on that formula you drew out for my lights. i should actually be technically able to run them just under 1.5ft IF everything was perfect? From what i understand it and the information i find is 50/50. running elevated levels of CO2 is going to cause them to eat more in the first place? If i base my lights on those number i should be just around 800-1000 umol with the conditions i previously listed above. i have never been able to get my nute ppms past 700 wtth HID without burning but like i said right now im at 900ppm and they look like they love it. am i going to need to raise this probably is this still too low nute ppm in flower for such a intense room?

Raise lights, humidity and temps! Led grown plants crave more magnesium from my experience. Did you check PAR readings before making the switch? You got to have some reference for good working conditions. And last don't fix it if it ain't broken.

Like other mentioned it's easy to burn plants with high intensity LED's.

Edit: Old thread...
