led question.....

does anyone have info or experience with removing the collimaters (lenses) from your leds??
will it help spread the light??
will i lose intesity??
is it a bad idea??
i cant seem to find much info on it online??

Im buildings my first COB set up,
What lens degree u recommend?
120degree or 80degree or other?
I was thinking on not using any lens.
But seen like lens do help so please help with the best degree lens.

5x10ft tent,

16) CREE CXB3590 3500K CD 36V 80CRI, CXB3590-0000-000N0HCD35G

16 ) CREE 3590 LED holder, Ideal 50-2303CR

16 ) LED glass lens ? degree?

16 ) Thermal adhesive tape for cxb3590

16 ) 180mm pin fin heatsink for CREE CXB3590 95-105W
