Thanks for your suggestions, guys. I pulled the trigger on the Buy ChilLED Tech Growcraft X3 – 500W LED Grow Light – LED Grow Lights Depot The performance, the design and it's made in America. I know I could have saved money by buying the DIY kit, but I chose to buy my time instead.

The highlighted square is 4x2. If I can't get it done with this thing I might as well hang it up.

Go up higher it evens out. Which light is that. 12" is really close. My x3-500 would nuke anything at 12 inches

I’m on my first grow with an hlg 350r, and so far plants look great in a 2x4 tent. They’re kind of hard to get though. They seem to be out of stock a lot which indicates to me there must be some high demand for them.

I find it interesting how so many are always on the edge of their seat to see what Shane from Migro has to say about a particular light in a review rather than looking at the product that he has put to market,
Looks like the Aray2 is official now, don't rule out this sexy lighting setup. Amazing uniformity for those who need to grow close to the light due to height restrictions.
Now with very versatile hanging by holes in the bar end plates also!

Stay away from the king LED’s unless you want really short plants. Get a good quantum board with Samsung LM301B or H diodes in 3000 or 3500 K with the far red with a meanwell driver and personally like stated above the sf4000 is a good choice or any 480w quantum boards with that spectrum and those diodes will do really well in that space.
A buddy started with all King lights and after showing him how the white quantum boards produced he hasn’t used the kings at all in fact I believe he gave them away. The blue spectrum of the kings makes seems to make the plants stay shorter even though they claim they use the LM301 diodes they must be a different kelvin rating. Search Amazon. You can find small 100w with the above stated specs for 35 bucks each so 4 would equal a true 400w for 140 bucks that’s super cheap and they all can be Daisy chained together. Or buy 2 240’s
Do you have a link for the Amazon lights?

I'm trying out a California lightworks solar extreme 500 when they had a refurbished sale last week. Light was 250. Well under its usual price of almost 600. I got it especially for my 3x3 gorilla tent. I'll start a diary as soon as it's set up
