Hello, fellow growers!
I've been struggling to finish my LED lights for some time due to design failures and delivery times. Finally, all the diodes and drivers arrived. I'm currently revising the design as a whole, considering mounting them directly onto nice heatsinks (even though they're 1w diodes on stars). I'll make a nice thread about it as soon as I have more than packaged diodes and a failed prototype to show, but I wanted to ask your opinion on my spectrum choice:
130x 5000k white
35x 660 red
60x 630 red
18x 445 blue
27x 465 blue
I've been reading about the negative effects off excessive blue light and 660nm reds (hadn't done so when I ordered the diodes), but I still have much to learn about it. Do you think I'm planning on excessive light on those wavelengths? After reading a while I had the impression that I could have chosen better.
Thank you very much once more for all I've been able to learn on this forum.
Btw, all diodes have a 120 degree spread except for the 660nm reds, which have a viewing angle of 140 degrees.
