I would say yes, but just as a safety precaution if it gets too fat. Might look okay for the 1st 6 weeks and then you don't want to have a problem.....Made my screen for the SCROG this evening, do you guys think I should make the holes bigger by snipping one row out of every two?
At the moment the holes are 25mm x 25mm, snipping one out would obviously make it 25mm x 50mm, what are the thoughts of experienced SCROGers out there?

Hey bro, thanks for looking through my log!I've read through your log here and have a couple of questions for you. How heavy is your light fixture? Now if it isn't 25 lbs or more, I think you could have used smaller hooks and smaller chain. Smaller chain would allow you to make smaller height adjustments and smaller hooks would give you more room to grow. More room to grow allows for larger buds. Just my 2 copper coins....
Also if you want to cut down on the noise, you can get cork sheets that are 12" x 12" to line your box with and put the mylar over the cork. I lined the inside of my cabinet with cork sheets before installing the dishwasher. It helped a lot for cutting down noise for that so it should work for fans too. Good luck on your grow.
Hope this may help with your grow!Hey bro, thanks for looking through my log!
With regards to the weight of the light fixture, it's probably only a kilogram or 2 but the only issue is that I can't actually have it any higher to the roof of the box due to the power cable coming out of the top of the light.
I don't know your location, but you may want to search around on some electronic, electrical websites for a angled plug or 90 degree plug for your light. It could give you a few more inches of growing space.
Here's a pic:

Cork sheets are a great idea, maybe for next time I start up but I think the majority of the noise is from the exhaust fan so I probably should have invested in a voltage/speed controller. Thanks for your advice mate!
RTV or silicone is another option for mounting your fan, also you could make a rubber gasket to go between the fan and the box. I know everything on the submarines were mounted to rubber feet for making them quieter.
So my plant is now 25 days old (just ticked over midnight here) and I'm wondering whether I'd be good to change to 12/12? It's almost reached the screen and I'd predict it to make it there in the next 18-36hrs of light. I'd post some pictures of it but it's currently sleeping so kinda droopy and doesn't look super awesome like when it's got the LED on it. I figure with the 8-12 weeks it'll take to flower that I could probably jump to 12/12 and still comfortably fill the screen (which is 34x42cm for reference).
Thanks guys!
Looks like a winner you have there. I am assuming that this isn't an auto flower? I can't say yes or no as to switch the light cycle, but remember being impatient will kill faster than anything.Okay so here's the day 25 pics, hopefully you can tell me whether it'd be fine to switch to 12/12:
