LED T5 Replacements - Anyone using them?

Be better off getting some Samsung strips and a driver. I retired my t-5 HO's with the LED replacement bulb as they don't work as well as strips.

when i tried cloning under them the fried . They are vegging at the rate I want. Only thing i can test is lux and at canopy height for my different shelves its at 25k-30k. so as a replacement for t5s it seems to work in my setup.
How many of these are you using? Watts per Sq/ft?

there advertised as 20 watts i run 7 on one shelf 5 on another. Looking up the code on the led strip board showed specs for them at 20w. tho airwalker said they only pull 9w. shelves are 36x18.

Led T5 tubes are not very good, you are better off using a good fluorescent. Although the lumens maybe higher with led you get a few extra perks with a fluorescent in the spectrum. The other issue is the driver is built into the tube and tends to burn out fast due to the heat. Using led strips is a much better option than a drop in replacement.

Are you suggesting T5 has a better spectrum than LED?

T5s have a different blue spectrum in most cases also a little uv in them which I believe is good for veg to strengthen up the plants. It depends on what tube you get of course
