Led timer.problem

Hi.guys ,,, quick.question.,,, can anyone recommend a light timer that works on a LED light ,can't find a timer that will.work, turn on off the light,,,,,, a little pic for you guys,, this is my first grow, now on.Week 2 ,, any comment s would be good aswell,,, let me know what you all think and pointers would be very appreciated,wedding cake

I thought that myself bro,,, but seemingly the LED has something in it that A timer can't direct the power on off switch,, I have tried a few but no success,,, another member just said a titan control analog timer is how to do it so going to give that a shot,,,, what you think of the plants bro,,,, it's my first ever grow,,, I have 8 plants,, 4wedding cake,4dos so dos,,,, here is a pic of one of each,,, just going into week 2 now

I've used several LED lights with regular light timers from the hardware store, is it one with tabs? Are all the tabs set for the light to be off or something?

If you mean the sf2000 then its really only about 200 watts at the wall and it should run fine off regular timers

Hmmm,,,.I've tried bro can't seem to get them working ,,, I'm going to try a fee others ,,, I'm thinking it's maybe a fault in the light,,,, so mate can I throw another fee questions wile we are here is that's ok,, as I said it's my first grow,, so need all pointers I can get

Thanks man,,,, ok bro first ever grow,, 8 plants 4wedding cake 4x dos si dos, 33ltr dwcr system,, under a 2000watt Led ,, tent is L2m/w1.5/h2m,,,,,, nutrition,,,, silicon,, cal mag,,, 3part micro,grow,bloom ,,, Humic.acid,,, had some rappid start in but I have a water change on Monday coming as that will be 2 weeks in the tent, so need to change the reservoir and clean the system so not going to add that in after the clean out! Going to add another 2000 into the tent what you think? Also any pointers on nutrients? Add or take away,,, all on half strength by the way at the moment!,,, ph trying my best to keep at 6,,,ec 0.7,,,temp26 ,, and humidity around 50/60%, so mate any thing you can help with would be great

I'm using this nutrient regiment, took it straight from cocoforcannabis.com works good for me, CALiMAGic, FloraMicro, FloraGro FloraBloom and I'm adding hydroguard and Yucca extract. Haven't had any problems with burning or anything but I'm growing in cococoir not hydro.



Had to do some conversions to figure out how big your tent is in feet lol I'm in the states. That is not much light if you plan on filling the space with plants even if you get another light, people usually say you need 35 watts of light per sq foot even up to 50 depending on quality of light. That sf2000 isnt actually 2000 watts and the amount of power it is actually pulling is what you need to go by, according to the info on amazon it draws roughly 200 watts. 2m is 6.56166ft and 1.5m is 4.9166ft. 6.56166 x 4.9166 = 32.261sqft x 35 watts each 1,129.137 actual watts recommended for good LED lights. If you add another one of those lights you will be just over 1/3rd the recommended amount of light, lights that actually drew that much power could be great for it.

Can you link the timer you're using?
There isn't anything special about the power cord, so I suspect you're having some programming issues.
Travis is correct. You're massively underlit for that space.

Shit dude ,,, how many more light do I need man?,,,, I'm in the UK,,,, Scotland,,,,,,, bro everything is so expensive here man,,,, I have spent nearly £3000 British pounds already ,,, I think that's over 4000 us dollars,,,,,, what do you think.I should do man? So another 4 lights?

Can I mix the light ,,, say Led, high s,,,, my friend has loads of spare lights will.a just throw them all in the tent

I honestly don't know what the best choice for you would be, I built my lights and plan on building more but even doing that with using good drivers it isn't cheap.if heat isn't too huge of an issue you might want to try HID lights.

Bro if your calculations are correct,, I need another 4 of they sf2000 lights ,,,,, bro that.has just crushed my spirit man,,,,, why the hell do they promote these lights if you need them fucking by the bunch not just single ,,,, I'm.crushed man,, why the Fuck not sell 1 light that does the job 2 even,,,, sorry for the language guys , but they lights will be around 4/500 bucks U.S ,,, I think I'm going to have to call it a day on the grow guys I've not got another nearly 1500/2000 bucks to spend on lights ,,,, thanks for the help guys ,I'm so glad use have told me this now instead of getting further down the line wondering what's going on.

Bro ,, I'm.using a.ph pen, an ec pen,, .Do I also need.a.ppm.pen.aswell?? Getting confused as I thought if the ec.was.fine.that ment the ppm was fine ,, but I think I've got that wrong???

They list the coverage area right on their website. Did you somehow miss that?..



You don't need both a PPM meter and EC meter. One or the other is fine.

Maybe you should just get a 1k HPS light, if costs are a concern.

Hi.Bro,, it was a totally stupid mistake on my part bro,, this is my first ever grow so not very knowledgeable on it,,, I thought 2000watt ment it out out 2000watts,, but after.being pointed in the right direction.it only pulls 200watts from the wall,,, so bro as they say you learn something new every day,,,, I've order an other sf2000 and an sf4000,, but another problem bro,, the or I especially of the units have doubled over the past month,,, I paid £270 British pounds for the sf2000 now the company are asking for £500 British pounds ,,, so I'm having an email war at the moment with the company ,trying to get an package deal for the other 2 lights ,, so hope fully they come.soon, so I think that should solve the problem,,, do you think that is enough light, 2xsf2000 and an sf4000 is that enough light bro???? Today is the start of week 2,, going to clean the system out ,, get greasy water and nutrients into it,, I will send you pics of the progress so far,, sorry I'm not sure the price conversion for UK pound to us dollar ,,,,
