LED Too bright in my apartment

I just got a KIND LED 750 and Gorilla Grow Tent. The tent has 3 vent holes with velcro flaps on the bottom. The problem that I'm having is that the LED lights are so bright even with the tent closed, and 3 velcro flaps open they hurt my eyes. I live in an apartment so my grow tent is right where I sit down and watch TV. Is it okay to cover 2 of the velcro flaps? Or do all three flaps need to be open in order to get sufficient air into my 4 x 4 tent. I do not have an intake fan, but I do have an exhaust fan ducting out of the tent. Thanx.

HMMMM...if you can afford a gorilla tent, I am sure you can handle a desktop type of fan. Close all but one vent and place the fan in front of the remaining open flap either sucking or blowing (LOL!!) ambient air into the tent.

Get ducting make u bends in ducting and use the negative pressure passive intake or put a fan on it and go active.
I never use those bottom flaps ever.
But do u Therefore ur not bothered by the bright light shining from the bottom of the tent

A little fan blowing into the screen of the bottom vent sounds cool. But if I got a intake fan, would I need to connect another carbon filter to it? I already have a huge carbon filter for the exhaust at the top of my tent. Do I have to have another carbon filter at the bottom of my tent attached to the intake fan so it would filter out bad things from going into the tent?

No. You use a prefilter. I'm using pantyhose. No shit. That little flap isn't filtering anything better than pantyhose will anyway. And you don't necessarily need an intake fan. You can do the passive intake that you are doing now but use ducting so you can angle it and stop the light leak.
Also. If you have light leak now. What are you going to do when you flower and leak light in and fuck up flowering?

Nothing to be sorry about. Everybody's a newb on the first run, but that doesn't mean you can't grow some nice buds if you don't overcare for them by overfeeding or overwatering. Start out on the lowside with your mutes cause it's a lot easier to step up your mutes than hit with too much and then have to flush them and then get them back healthy.

I am only bothered when I sit in the space and smoke 1 or 3 staring at them like a noob every day...
I have about 100 ft of ducting bent all over the place with black beanie/hoodie caps on them..

I stress on light so bright it shines thru the walls of aluminum ducting..
