Was that an auction ? Damn good price !!I just got the 180w Jumbo for 160$
Working like a charm it's sitting next to my 600w HPS and I have 1 strain in two pots. One is under the HPS and one is under the LED..
Whichever works better....
They'll sell them for $200 easy if you call them. I phoned in my order & gave them my paypal email to send the bill to.

The one I have is the 90w 6band. Personally I don't think one 90w ufo will produce much bud. With my experiment I've learned how to grow with hempy buckets. I like it, im hooked on growing this way. No more soil grows for me !! With the ufo, I plan to get 2 more of the same 90w models & use three for a single plant scrog. As long as I can produce a minimum of 3oz's for myself with the led's & not have to use my hps I'll be happy.

You ask if 2 or 3 of them will get the job done, The led's don't have the light penetration like mh or hps so to get the most out of led's I would say grow using the scrog method & you should have headstash. For the past couple of weeks I've been guessing at a 1/2oz is what I'll pull off this 16" ak48 clone. I'm still guessing around that range but definitely don't see it being 21gms. Overall it was fun growing with the led & I'm not finished with led's yet nor am I'm ready to sell my 400mh/hps electronic ballast & reflector just yet. until I can afford more ufo's I need a couple of grows with my 400 in the meantime

Great thread mookie brown! I am glad to see these types of grows where folks are willing to venture out a little outside the norm to try something new. Those are some really impressive shots! +kudos!

if your going to go led do the stealth grow. has the most power out right now and does the closest to replacing a 1000's but still has major penetration problems into the canopy so will require rigorous pruning shed. and maybe an additional light to get the right effect in your plants

I would think realistically pulling in close to 2oz's with one 90w ufo is achievable with scrog. Have you seen the grow rumpleforeskin grew with using two 180w ufo's ? He pulled 7+ oz's & says he could do better. Dude, if I can get just two of these 90w ufo's to produce 3-4zs I'll be set

Your girl looks nice mookie! I hope mine will end up as well off, they are just still lil ones but they are growing fast. Right now I am having serious humidity problems though. I tried to skip out on a decent air exchange but I can say for sure now that it is absolutely vital to any successful grow! And while you are on the subject of end weight, I figure it like this...

UFO 90w is like its brand new for at least 3 grows. After so many hours the LED's start to wear down a bit, but still well with in a usable amount of light.

You won't go wrong with leds. It will lower the temps alot I don't even worry about temps in my tent. because they stay right at 75 or so. I only vent my tent in the morning and afternoon. About 6 or so and in the after noon for alittle longer. Saves me power and trouble worry about burning plants and my house down. But thats just my humble opinion. Good luck I
