This is not a blurple board. It's full spectrum. It's a high definition white with slight blue in real life.
I have a Hydroponics Hut that I thought was whitish too. I really thought it was white. Until I put it next to a white 35ishk light. Looked whitish to me cuz it was so bright. Mine is "full spectrum too". High in R+B w/ a good 17% green. Wicked cool spectrum I though would kill it. Check it. Oh, be sure to read to. Especially the last sentence! LMFAO! I wanted to believe soooo bad. This is not a blurple board. It's full spectrum. It's a high definition white with slight blue in real life.
It's mostly white. It is full spectrum, but it utilizes mostly white and blue, followed by red, orange, and IR to tinge it to the right normal color. I'm just saying, this is pretty sufficient and not underpowered like Mars. I'm seriously thinking a second 450 will round me out to just the amount I'll need for my small grow.I have a Hydroponics Hut that I thought was whitish too. I really thought it was white. Good luck! I just think that so many people don't know how their led lights actually perform cuz they haven't compared them to other light sources that are proven. Then they're stuck thinking what they have works, all the while loosing large quantities of bud.I really do appreciate it guys, but I'm pretty confident that this is a quality economy line, and easily above Mars standard. This is how I'll prove that. If not, I'll try another. So far, this 450w puts out three times the Lux of my old 500w BlackStar. It also has a stronger projection at a distance.
Thanks for the up vote, bro.Hope it lasts. I had an Evervipargrow that was a 300w advertised but draws 175w when 60 diodes are working and 172w with 2 blue diodes out. It grew well but not as efficient as my 3 and 4 year old a51's. The diodes are 3chip 5 watt. All that said, it really well in density and frost.
If you do so well with Black Star, you will kill it with your light. Good luck.
its not ideal but not too late to spray for bugs. Get something organic that says use up to harvest day (which is bs but whatever) and mix a bit under rec dose and spray for bugs if your worried. Thanks Doobie and Airwalker
I took your advice, they're looking much more green and I've removed some of the fan leaves to get some better light penetration.
I also found some red spider mites! Common here in Australia. I take my girls outside a bit here so bound to happen I guess.
Bit worried that they've only just begun flowering now ( day 60 ) they're autoflowering and website advised 75-90 days til harvest.
My question is will they die before they've reached full bud?
I monster crop. 3 weeks into flower, I defoliated and I took a clone from each. They didn't herm, and I cut a third or more off of each. Herming is caused by heat and bad genetics.A Pure Kush plant I'm starting to flower under 1000w Mars (or Mars equivalent) Led. I had some plants outdoors, many got ravaged by animals, this one was one of them. I nursed it back and am keeping it small because it's a bit late in the season to veg it out anyway. The Sharksbreath plant to the right also experienced similar destruction and rehab, I'm trying to flower it also, so far it's still vegging but that's cool. Would normally top healthy plants but decided to leave these 2 alone.View attachment 3732155

Also I heard that one should not to do pruning during flowering stage, or that it's best of course to do it in veg, but should I remove these sites now?
