about blurple, efficient units can get the job done.....its the output that annoys the crap out of my eyes (won't have a pest issue though), chloro peaks push the plants & you need your A game for a healthy run. White light is more forgiving IME

"She" is a special one that Cammie, ledgirl had some epic meltdowns back in the day. Find it funny claiming she came up with the quantum name, even though there was quantum led grow lights (using green monos in black framed/ rebranded china lights) around the time irishboy & spectra led were a thing(faking results w hps) Way before hgl. Even with just the handful of led companies in 2010, nobody wanted her shit.......attitude; )

I had tomatoes in there at the start. This is a 4x4. But i don’t weigh my stuff as its only for me. Tho results are satisfying for me.

Daaaaaaaammmmmm!!!! Excellent results!!! So many different types of lights out here to choose from... Im gonna get another tent and try something different... Maybe something like this... I always liked cobs... I wanted to put a couple in my 2x2x3... I've got a qb288 and a qb100 for that... Oh the possibilities...

Thanks. This was a quick grow, 11/13 after 3 1/2 weeks from germination in less than 1 gallon pots. Mostly to crack seeds and pick some good phenos to do a proper run. Next run will be 5 gal with proper veg and only 4 plants max. Thats gonna be bud porn i’m sure. But its gonna take a while. I hate growing in summer. Cobs qbs whatever, leds are good. Also i’m adding fans to this setup now. The heatsinks does not stay as cool as i want them to.

Let go of your hate man, it’s only hurting you.

And sunlight? The sun is a star man, it’s not a grow light, Haven’t you read any studies on light absorption or how plants primarily use red and blue light? Full spectrum is an excuse for not creating the proper spectrum. Plants filter out most of the light from the sun, so if we’re using the sun as a baseline it’s not very efficient. So why are so many companies trying then to re-create sunlight? Why create a light where the plant has to go through the work of filtering out colors it doesn’t need or can barely absorb?

I akways start with the baseline adequate gear cost, then see where the price of "perceived " "upgrades" gets me... normally tht makes me bank my good ideas for later and return to how many photons I can get off a good white LED for the cash layout..

here is my 60 days from seed, 12/12 from seed. Luminus Cobs, 300 watts, no more then 500 PAR, and a couple Cherrywine CBD, which are only 10 days old, ( count started when 1st node separated from small starter leafs ), Ive seen some dude that calls himself Wizard of npk or something like that on the utubes, with worlds best Nutes, and these are crushing his at this age, his stalk wasnt even this thick till day 45 or something,lol. Cant wait to see how they shape up, they are also 12/12 from seed.
