LEDs; Which Light is Right?

because of limited funds i have had to start slow, i started with 4 14w led panels, the cheapies you can buy off ebay for like $25-30 each, they grew plants, but they did not get to over 5-6 inches tall after roughly a month, i then bought 3 20w spotlights, they are around $20 each on ebay if you look hard enough, i have a lumens meter, it showed just over 1,100 lmns per light, they grew the plants to roughly 4 foot tall, they were indica but still too small, but smoked nicely 
i am now growing clones of 2 of those plants, they started on the 20w and the panels, they are now under 50w LED spotlights, one for each, the meter shows well over 5,000 lmns but my meter peaks out there, so far they have gone through veg and are now in 12/12 for a week, over 4 feet tall already and much more buds going than on the parents, i think i have found my cheap lights that work and are cheap to run, the 50w were just under $50 each delivered once again from ebay, the tough thing with them is most sell them with no leads so you need to attach one yourself, but if you are willing to pay a little extra you can get them with leads and plugs
better add this, they are cool white, i have one of the 20w warm white, the cool white throws off more blues the warm more reds, but both cover all colors, i have not tried the lights that change color or have color filters on them only the panels, they are all sorts, 1 is red/blue, 1 is blue/white 1 is all red and the last one is all blue, in my veg room i have the 2 solid color ones and my bud room i have the red/blue and blue/white just to add a little side light
