Sorry im in a bit of a bad mood today so I apologize for the way I went about it.
But come on man your asking about watering and calling your self a caregiver.
Its simple water till soil is wet, then don't water again till the soil is dry.

Get rid of the solo cups if you want to start in small pot size may I suggest half gal or1 gal grow bags or pots.
They will drain much better and in turn produce better root systems.


My hatin ass has been growing for over 15 years you don't have to tell me to get growing I live in my grow room friend.
And are you trying to impress me with your strains?
Currently I have
DNA- snowcap la, Holy grail kush and Og LA affie
TGA- jillybean, timewreck, pandora's box, and space dawg
Bodhi- Goji OG
Emerald triangle- Blueberry headband
G13- Chocolate Heaven
Had Dinafem- moby dick and white siberian<-- not impressed by dinafem still have critical + to try but not holding out much hope of a keeper.

So keep thinking you know more then me.

They're going to be fine in five gallons. Just water til the first few inches of soil is moist. Letting em to dry out a lil in soil is not bad. It causes the roots to grow out in search of water. I water my outdoor at night. Same for indoor right before the lights go out. Always worked great for me. Just watch them don't let dry out. As they get larger make sure to saturate the soil with water to ensure no dry pockets. Roots don't like this.
