Legality of seeds/importing seeds in the UK?

From what I've read, its legal to import and possess cannabis seeds in the UK. Is this correct? Some people have said that they can be used as fishing bait (expensive) and budgie food (again expensive). There is a slight risk of them getting caught in customs though, but all you get is a letter. Or is this only in the US? I can't seem to find any reliable information on the legality of them in the UK.

Hey dude. Seeds and importation are legal. Under the misuse of drugs act there illegal from when you germinate them. Personally I do not like the idea of my shit coming through customs that's why I would suggest using a reputable seed bank such as speedy seedz or if you have to attitude. Or the London seed centre (have not tried these) all are based in UK

Cheers guys, ill have a poke at speedyseedz now then. I was thinking of ordering from rollitup.com or nirvana shop. Stupid question: When it says average yield, is that per seed or per pack?

If your growing in UK then any strain. Up to your area an light and conditions really and your personal choice. If smell going to be an issue go for a BLue Mystic or Northern Lights

Ah cool. What time of year do you think would be best to plant? I was thinking of ordering in the next week or so.
