Has anyone thought about what national legalization will do to our already depleted water supply? I believe in legalizing marijuana, but I also wonder what the impact will be on our water supply especially for states like California who are in a serious drought. Maybe I'll smoke more so I stop thinking about the consequences...

google 'water wars' yes there millions of people concerned about water usage.legalization in my opinin won't make a marked impact. producers can reuse water. farmers can't they are the ones depleting the aquifers and lowering water tables. pot would be the old drop in an ocean.
in fact legalization may push the industry to refine medium scale water filtration for reuse into a cheaper avenue.

With national legalization crossing state lines will not be a prob.production will move to areas where water is not in such short supply.

U.S has track record of going after the weak sister.We should go after Belize, Costa Rica or 1 of the Carib. islands
