I don't agree, in my own little world anyway. I don't really mind either way, but..
Life was way better when it was like the wild west, and you had a chance to make it big, or sit in the slammer for a bit (and then go dig up your retirement fund).
It was funner growing cannabis, and trying not to get caught. It was, taboo in a way.
I actually enjoyed the adrenaline rush of getting caught, and especially the feeling of getting away with it. Hiding HPS glow was exhilarating.
Guerilla grows were the best though, and brought me into nature, where you could connect more with the plants. In a mystical way. Losing harvests to bud rot or gangsters taught me to appreciate life in many ways. To be thankful for what you have, and that the universe will always provide exactly what you need.
No risks, no rewards. Cannabis isn't that special anymore, and most consumers don't really appreciate those that grow it either.
Most of it is garbage, and the legal states are flooded with it.
You can't just grow a large warehouse full of plants, with multiple workers tracking spider mites in and out, and not spray the hell out of everything with toxic chemicals.
Legalizing it federally will just mean that a few corporations take over, and its already headed that way.
