A billion dollar company? You’re giving them way too much credit. According to sources, Arjan, is worth about $11 million.

WW was originally released from Greenhouse but that was when Shantibaba was running the show. Wouldn't trust Arjan and the current Greenhouse poo poo. He literally has a Bubba Kush knock off that says it's "bubble gum x og kush" which is nowhere near the genetics in real Bubba. Arjan inherited a company brought to glory by Shanti. Mr Nice Black Widow = White Widow... Most dutch companies have their own versions which are likely originally from the original stock. Nirvana's White Widow is good and they do pretty good work for the price. They've done a good job preserving certain varities like WW, c99 etc...

What smells did you run into when doing nirvanas? I like the sweeter side of widows. I found my best in Flying Dutchmens so far but I would really like to pop more black widow, dp's ww, and more flying dutchmens.

I kept one cut from a seed pack but let her go back in '15. Sweet smelling but not necessarily a fruit smelling sweet. Almost reminded me of honey. I plan on popping more WW from various banks as well hoping to find something good.

I've tried Sumo Seed's White Widow and it was a pretty good smoke. Mind you, I haven't tried "legit" white widow (Mr. Nice's Black Widow/Greenhouse's version) but Sumo's White Widow is genuinely a really great plant to grow.

Stumbled upon this YouTube video yesterday, of an interview with Shantibaba. Thought it was a good and interesting interview, if anyone has the time.
Taking Shanti's own word for it, WW was originally a cut of ingemar's, then worked into seed form.
He's asked of some of the history behind GHSC and explains how it all got started. Then he's asked about the origins of White Widow @6:30 minutes in.
Have to admit I enjoyed the interview and really admired Shanti's modesty. Even when mentioning Arjan's name, or being asked about their history, he had nothing bad to say. That speaks volumes alone.
