Lemme recap so I know I have this right.

First timer here.

Looking to do a semi stealth DWC type system. The stealth PC grows look really exciting and props to everyone working them, but I'm not ready to gut out my antec 1200 case lol. I have most of the gear scouted out already anyways.

Anyways, just wanna make sure I have this right, or at least semi close.

germ
plant - 24/7 lighting
2nd node pops, add 1/4 measure of nutes to reservoir
drain/replenish (every 4-5 days sound good?)
gradually bumping up nute measures
she gets big enough start 12/12??
continue draining/replenishing with full measures of nutes

Sorry if Im doing this wrong, first time. Its not a big deal if the plant makes it or not the first few times. Im mostly doing this as something to do during the fall/winter months here. Plus, as with eating, it would be fun to smoke something I grew.

Sounds like you have the right basic idea(s). Though be careful with nutrients - there is no hard and fast rule on how much and when due to variations between brands and plants so take it slow and easy with them rather than burning your plants (DWC is rather unforgiving in this regard).

Might want to read up on LST techniques since you are wanting to grow on a micro scale. Also, get some way to read pH (meter/strips/drops) and invest in an EC/ppm meter if at all possible (even a super-cheap eBay one is better than trying without one).

Your light is going to be the biggest factor.

I'm most definitely going to be doing some LST. I will be allotted about 25-30 inches of height for this case. Once I go to 12/12, should I expect to have the plant nearly double in height as I have been reading? If so, 12/12 at about 15" tall? Also, I will be picking up a pH control kit and a ppm meter when I go back to my other house this week. (moving out of state from old house)

The lighting I'm looking to pick up would consist of:

Earthmate EP3052AE 30-Watt Spiral CFL 2700K Bulb, 6 Pack
Feit Electric ESL40TN/D 42-Watt Compact Fluorescent High-Wattage Bulb, Daylight x2 or 3.
