Thanks a lot bro. I think i managed to dial them in early on, and haven;t had any problems the entire grow. They're outside, in an underground location which still gets about 4-5 hrs of direct sunlight per day. They have basically overgrown the entire space and i am thankful they are no longer stretching, but flowering. The western winds (kali mist) stretched like a Beast and i learned a thing or two about growing this strain. Anyway, peace and happy growing ! :-)

Just read back um:eyesmoke: I see you said you were growing outside:dunce: . What do you think about doing WW indoors? With height restrictions?:peace:

DSCN0800.JPG My smallest W.Winds- flowering slowly. I trained this one heavily and she's less than 2.5 feet tall as a result :joint:

I'd say run them on 12/12 from seed/clone indoors. This strain wants to grow 6-8 ' if it can, so i advise aggressive LST early on and throughout entire growth. I trained my outdoor Kali early and the biggest one still ended up about 5' tall. Next year, i will start later in the season. But to answer your question, sure- you can run this strain indoors. Just watch her height and you'll be okay. She's also a pretty light feeder (ime) and for the last few weeks i have been watering using pure H2o and the plants are healthy as ever. I always start out feeding fish emulsion throughout veg, then switch to a bloom formula such as 11-35-17 or something similar. When using a rich soil/compost, you shouldn't experience any deficiencies throughout entire grow.:peace:

Trichs and some treats. Nice KM. Can't wait for the smoke report.
Indi, the kush seems to be forming nicely. Feel free to show the KM as she fills in. :)
Thanks pepe ;-)_~ Yeah, the KM will be getting sticky in about 5 more weeks (i imagine). She is def the slowest flowering plant I have grown to date, as expected from a sativa- . We've been smoking such garbage here, commercial bricked-up trash with tons of seeds. I just Had to snip a little of the Lemon Kush yesterday. Even quick-dried, Talk about FLAVOR and smoothness... very tasty and already more potent than previously mentioned schwag. About 5 weeks to go for the earliest Kush-

How do you remove heat when vertical growing?

I use big extraction fans. I had a 10" vortex for a 10x5 tent. Just a small fan blowing on the bare bulb with a lot of extraction. You don't need 2x per minute air replacement like I opted for, I did that to up my CO2 levels mostly. It's pretty easy to cool honestly. Reflectors trap a lot of heat and become like radiators after they've been on for a while.

DSCN0805.JPG Here are my girls today.. they're coming along I'd say. The Lemon-Kush smells amazing already. Can't wait-

Just a little update- didn't take pics but the Kali Mist is starting to form "spear-like" colas. Very long, thin buds that are starting to show first signs of resin :-) The Lemon Kush is flowering faster, and packing on the weight. Expecting the earliest kush to be done in about 4 weeks, while the Kali will prolly go till Late October. Will update with pics in a couple weeks :leaf:
