Lemon Skunk

I have one feminized lemon skunk seed from greenhouse seeds. I haven't started it yet because I am growing the church first. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's pics as the plants progress

My strain was from the breeder Jordan of the Island (think God Bud), but there are at least 3 Lemon Skunk strains that I know about-Jordan, Greenhouse, and DNA. The Jordan strain is supposed to be 65/35% indica/sativa.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good strain. It just doesn't float my particular leaky old rowboat

Wow these are huge! I think this is the stretchy phenotype of the GH LS. How many weeks into flowering this one is?

I kept hearing people talk about the amazing smell of Lemon Skunk. My plants just did not have it and I was wondering if something was wrong.

Well, SURPRISE, today when I was doing some garden gazing, I touched a bud on my Lemon Skunk ( around 3 weeks into flower) and there is was, it reminded me of those hard lemon candies. I am so pleased, can not wait till these things mature.

If you touch the triches they give you a really good lemon candy smell on the fingers. If you smell the bud without touching it smells like a skunk.

You are so right Max buds i would give it almost a fruity pebbles smell

well half of one has been chopped right at week 9and 1/2 to...Took a look under the scope and saw about 80% cloudy 20% amber... i use this as a gage as to when the other one should be ready(the other one is still not all cloudy) and to let the lower buds get some more age. But as i can tell you I don't know if going any further would be better because right now i dried it for five days and decided to take a precure bowl...and oh dear lord people the taste before curing was phenomenal (i can't wait for this to be properly cured i'll be in heaven, and probably consider the stuff from the dealer just plain swag when its really is straight regs)....Damn i forgot the girlfriend has the camera with her right now but i'll shoot some pics of the nugs and prolly be hackin the other one down tomorrow.....I just want to shout it from the roof tops LEMON SKUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i've been just blizted for going oooooooonnnnnnnnn two hours now and there doesnt seem to be anystopin....this is a complex high for those who have experienced. I haven't been this type of high in forever when you take the huge second hit you feel your eyes close try as you might but they will force shut during the hit in take you can feel your insides of your mouth pucker like it might if you had a sour war head in a slight tingling if you cut a little early and suddlenly your rushed through the head where it sits gushing the felling from the spine to the top of your skull and then when it comes to the creep portion it sits right behind your ears...I have yet to felt it hit my legs yet. My eyes and my head are indica stoned but not tired and very mellowed out though has a conversational feel....Guys lemon skunk is the shit i'm proud to have grown it and proud of all of you for doing the same.

I LOVE LEMON SKUNK!!!!!!!!! i have a couple of plants that i have going from two years ago!! we call it sewer skunk!! you can smell them fro 50 feet away in full bud.

Hell yea milehigh. Congrats on the nice grow man. I got 3 Lemon Skunks about a month into flower now, and they are smelling nice. Very citrus/lemon, looks good but damn they DO stretch. One of mine I have some height issues with and one is just kind of leggy compared to the others. I'm not having that problem with my other strains.

that is the issue with this one if i could give it a negative comment it would be the stretchiness it takes up alot of not used plant space but the product is worth it

Yeah the stretching is a big problem with this strain. I want to grow it again but I'm considering not to because it takes up a lot of space when I bend it to be short enough for my closet. my closet is built for two fat indicas and with the lemon skunk Ive to grow 1 plant at a time which sucks ass because the lemon skunk isnt a big yielder.

mine also stretched and it was under a 600HPS ! nice yield tho

Yeah im getting a nice yield out of mine as well...Max Buds are you growing with height limitation because you should be able to grow two of these in a little closet no problem...they like to go up and not out so much....

I have some very valuable information though on knowing when its time to cut with this strain...

Like Max Buds had said previous it has a skunk smell if you smell the bud and smells sweet if you grab it and smell your fingers.....After cutting the one in half ive been keeping close tabs on the other half and my tall one....and it seems the one cut in half is starting to smell sweeter than previously claimed...so it seems when you reach the right amount of peak potency it starts to smell more like that lemon in the buds themselves...

Yeah Ive a height limit.. Used to grow short white rhinos in there they didn't push over the 2.5ft now this monster is 4ft LSTed and this is my limit.. Did the buds fatten up much in the last 3 weeks?

Alrighty folks here they are (this was way too difficult to get these pictures) but as you can tell shes almost 6 feet tall and was prolly going to be taller if it didnt grow right into the light but hey it did just fine so i let it go.

For the love of god lets make this work... Eureka finally i had to load each one indiviually to get it to work...so they've been chopped and it looks to be about 3 and half oz (almost four) by my standards i'm happy...this should tide me over for a while since growing is going to have to halt untill the move in june...But then oh jesus then there will be plenty of growth. I have three lemon skunk seeds left 3 power skunks 3 aurora indicas three swiss misss 4sweettooths 5 Blueberry, and 4 white rihino and last but not least...5 LSD( Lemon Skunk Deisel) its gonna be a wild ride but ill be posting some post curring pics and checking up on how you all are doing....Untill then
