Less than a week in and I'm already SCREWED! PLEASE HELP! WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Not quite a problem yet, but it will be!

I planted 3 germinated seeds less than a week ago and they seem to be doing great. Well, today i discovered that i have to leave the city for like 5 days!!

5 FUCKIN DAYS!! WTF!!

What do i do?

This is a stealth rubbermaid grow that my room mate knows nothing about and the less he knows the better! Its not that he's against it or anything, he's even tried to grow before. The problem is that he has a big mouth and will tell everyone.

I have no way or watering and i don't have anyone that i can trust to take care of them for me!

What can I do?

PLEASE HELP!

I LEAVE TOMORROW!

if ya have the room, id put em in a bigger pot, and moisten the soil really good, but not like mud.

5 days they should be fine really. stop trippin, chances are you are overwatering it anyway.

if you are that worried about it, u can fill up your drip trays.

*** edit, k less than a week old, i doubt u have much to worry about, unless they are in shot glasses.

You sure? They are in plastic cups. I cant transplant because everything near me is already closed and i don't have the time to travel for pots.

Whats the most time i can go with out watering them?

What if i take longer than 5 days? This is the time period i have been told, but things could change and it could be another day or 2.

My work takes me away from the city at random sometimes.
I thought the next couple of months would be slow so i would have the time to grow, but it turns out i might be pretty busy.

you have to plan on these type of things. Growing bud is a full time gig.

alright dude,,, If your still there, dont worry about watering for 5 days,, mine are in cups and I only water every 7 days,,, no problem,, really, no problem...

This topic made me laugh out loud. If their only a week old man just overwater them a little and set it and forget it. The amount of water they consume over this time will be fairly minimal.

I left town for over 12 days, I watered them really good before I left. They were really thirsty and a little droppy, (and one grew about 1' over top of my HPS, missed it by 1/2"), but they were fine after I gave them a good watering.

People need to realize not everyone is as experienced as they are. I was freaked out because I am lightly watering every time the soil felt dry and 5-7 days (maybe more) seemed like it would be too long without a watering.

Am i under watering if they feel dry every 1-2 days? What about the temps...i've seen it get to almost 90, maybe more. I'm doing 24/24 should i go 18/24?

You asked for advise, not being a dumb ass is good advise. You have a job that requires you to travel and you get on a forum saying "SCREWED! i have to go out of town for a few days! God Help Me!" Well no shit Sherlock. Do some homework, its not a big deal, and don't call people elitist dicks when they are trying to teach you some common sense.
