Engineering is engineering. Applications differ, but NASA has been pretty damn interested in horticultural engineering for 30 years now, because no matter how high they fly, people still gotta EAT.

I still don't believe you get any closer to doing engineering than listening to them talk to each other in the elevator.

I've written a large number of drivers and libraries for electronic devices and individual chipsets.

You don't know me so please don't make assumptions as to my level of qualification/proficiency lest you be left looking like a complete fool.

Still doesn't make me an engineer tho.
