Lets see who knows their stuff, MOLYBDENUM deficiency?

Everything's controlled but it has just gotten warmer here. Temps 70-80. In a 5 gal plastic of ffof, happy frog, worm castings, pumice and rice hulls for aeration. Doing synganics as I miss timed my ammendments feed. This has been spreading slowly I can't really say why. I hadn't done a full "flush" as in, I haven't put a ton of water through her except her last watering which makes me think I leeched the molybdenum out. Please please please do not respond unless you know what you are talking about because I don't but I do know that this is the only way I could be def. In molybdenum UNLESS her ph somehow lowered on her own. I have no idea how that would happen but I'm thinking of adding some more worm castings on top to help microbial life that may have leeched it out. But I'm also pondering adding a liming agent to help the soil ph. Idk anyone with experience ?20240415_180411.jpg20240415_180404.jpg20240415_180356.jpg20240415_180350.jpg20240415_180338.jpg20240415_180328.jpg

Older leaves hidden from light, maybe deficient at 1 time but your plant looks good overall. No badly burnt tips, little droopy, you just water before the pic? Those older leaves don't last forever if u make mistakes.

How often do you water?

She actually needs water right now. Got hot real quick here. Went from literally 30 Fahrenheit at night to lows of 60s. Anywho, while some of it is sensence (idk if I spelled that right) she already dropped a bunch of leaves that were developing this purple hue too. I never had that when she is just senecing, just yellowing and dropping normally. I water like an idiot I won't lie. Normally I try to keep her top soil wet for microbial life but I haven't had the time to do that so the last time I watered with bloom liquid nutes, and pushed like a gallon through her, effectively flushing with nutes for the first time. Any time before was just small like half gallon waters.. Shes root bound bad I over vegged her because I wanted to test my grower knowledge. I think I washed molybdenum out of the soil with the microbes. Thats what I read as one of the possible causes. Because her ph should be bang on unless it went acidic on its own as I ph everything even though I don't believe in it. Temps are high enough that isn't the issue. I've never had this coloration in flower except when they've gotten cold ya know what I mean

Specifically I water every other day, sometimes every 3 days. I pay close attention to her leaves. She needs water now. But like I said, I hadn't "flushed" water through her up until that last time I watered like 3 days ago. Before that it was smaller frequent like half gallons every few days.

If anything I think you answered you own questions. Bad watering techniques are as bad as over or underfeeding. Can also be detrimental to roots, and when you have bad roots all the symptoms mix and it hard to figure out. Water proper first and foremost

You should not be letting it get that dry. You don't have to let it get bone dry, just let the plant drink some water and exchange it for air in the root zone before you water again. Don't drown the roots. You don't gotta wait till the plant drops or the soil is dust

Its fair enough but I've grown a few plants and never had purpling coming from watering haha. Not saying your wrong just adding my anecdote. I'm hitting her with plain water tonight ill update here tomorrow or the next day if it goes sour.

You gotta catch it before the leaves drop.. make note of the soils texture before they drop and .. don't let it get to that point anymore.. that's a check against the final product especially in flower
