Hi all,
I'm a new grower using a small Spider Farmer SF-1000 with a dimmer. My question is about using the dimmer. Lets say your space is limited and you need to lower the light a bit lower than the light recommendations. Will lowering the light and using the dimmer provide all of the correct light spectrums needed? (Excuse my possible incorrect useage of the word spectrum).
So, does a LED light with the dimmer activated provide the same quality of light as a light on full power?
The reason I'm asking is that one of the light manufactures recommends hanging at 12 inches height for all stages of growth using the dimmer. I thought this was a no-no and that lights need to be full power to provide the correct light. This of course is a silly newbie "assumption" and we all know what happens when you assume !
