Lets talk about this...

I'm growing bagseed because I'm waiting for my good seeds to arrive. Genetics play the most important role in how your cannabis comes out. A lot of times seeds get in your bag because some plants herm'd. So already you're starting "your strain" with poor genetics.

Not to say bagseed is always bad. Look at ChemDawg (ChemDawg 91', ChemDawg B, D, etc etc) ChemDawg found seeds in a bag of killer pot. He grew it out and bam ChemDawg is born (which led the way for OG Kush etc or so I've read)

Interesting theory but for the most part the seeds are there because.in mexico where its grown harvested early packaged and shipped the cartels mix females with males and don't really give a fuck how good it is because they get $200 a lb lol

Our first grow was from bagseed (finished this fall), and we kept a few girls and a boy just to make seeds. We have some first and second gens in there right now with an Applejack and a Kandy Kush. It's interesting to see how the bagseeds all come up a little different. I haven't bought a bag of weed in about 3 months. Is it diggity-dank? No, but it's smooth, tastes nice, and gets the job done. We ended up with fluffy weed, but I don't have a problem with that. Hell, just after the harvest The Spouse busted out a bag we'd bought a while ago, figuring "First in, first out." YUCK! We both made nasty faces on that first hit. "Put it in the freezer," I said, "we'll just save it for a rainy day." But to answer the OP's question, I honestly think it's a matter of opinion. This weed is super for me since I've rarely had anything but "brick weed". Next grow is Blueberry and Blue Cheese. THEN (with any luck) we'll have some nifty nuggets. After 13 years of mystery dope, I'm sure ready.

To summarize: Every morning as I read the paper and eat my generic Captain Crunch, I get to look at a GIANT jar full of weed. We grew it. It's good weed. We're happy. I hope everyone else is as happy as we are!

Ok i want to know everyones opinion on this... some of the best strains all over the world are located from mexico, jamacia the Himalayas etc etc etc, well riddle me this, if you were to take some of that mexican brick everyone can locally purchase for next to nothing that smokes like dirt because of the way its grown and handled and packaged etc etc , we all know it has seeds some of us call it bagseed others call it middy seeds what have you, and you properly take care of it grow it with the best medium and best nutrients around can you get a super dank strain you can call your own?

Please express your feelings on the topic
Are they still packaging the Mexican in compressed brick form. I haven't seen that since 1979 and it was $200 canadian for a kilo at the time.
