Been ripped off by growhigh.co.uk seed distro before?

So I'm a total newbie when it come to growing. I tried using this company called growhigh.co.uk. Not only are they the slowest senders, but this last order they charged me for what i ordered..and then decided to charge my card a second time for an extra $63.44! I've been emailing for over a week trying to get them to fix it, got one email back 2 days after first email that just said "done" as if I was the dick for emailing them to not charge me for no reason. However, it was not done. And ever since thery refuse to answer any of my emails and the purchase that i DID make that caused this mess in the first place has been "pending" for over a month and they won't explain anything about that!

There should be a website (if there is I'm totally unaware of it) just based on these companies and who is reliable and who is a crook. I imagine I'm not the first to have this happen... Let's hear your stories!

If they fix this I'll update this post and let you all know how it was handled.
 
I been ripped to... the site claims they send the stuff out the next day its been like 2 weeks no sign of the stuff and its still "pending".

I don't think anyone should trust this site anymore..

I first tried this site by making a small order for a friend. I made the order on 31-12-09 and that's where the problems start. firstly they do not reply to emails unless you call them stating there is a problem. then they do nothing about it until you email a few more times and call again:wall:. they show all their products as in stock and when you try to purchase them there still is non notification through email that the product is out of stock.:wall: the person I spoke to on the phone sounded like a teenager. after many emails and calls I still have not received my order. in the end I had to cancel. I don't expect them to refund me any time soon form their customer care back ground.:fire:

Stay away from these guys. In 2008 when I first ordered from them they were great. I actually placed an order on a Friday and received it on a Monday in the US. I was wondering if they were really in the US. It was that fast. Since then I have placed 3 more orders with them and the wait has gotten longer and longer. Since they carry DNA gear I recently placed an order last Wednesday. 5 emails later and still nothing. It's been a week and a day and my order is still processing. I guess if I ordered again it would take up to two weeks to be processed.

They actually used to answer your emails. Once my order is delivered I'm going to give them a call with a few choice words. This place has definitely fell apart.

Ok. I figured out how to get a response from these guys. You have to reply to the actual email they send you that confirms your order. I replied with that email address and got a response. When i used the contact form on their website I never got a response.

really sorry for the delay, chasing this up with the warehouse today. GH

I placed this order on the 19th of Jan. They finally responded today. Jan 27th.
