We haven't heard all of the details yet.. there appears to be some fraud going on, looking at the charges.... While I believe we should all be able to play online poker if we wish, I do want to be sure it's fair for everyone.

so yeah my i got 25 acres on free marijuana for my whole flippin county if they made it legal - good bye dollar sign dreams lol
We still have the Federal boys on our ass. But if you were to grow 25 acres worth of hemp now that works for me.. Especially if you are growing it to clean your soil and the ground water in California.
California ground water around farmland is extremely polluted. By rotating a hemp crop and using ground water California can slowly start to clean it's farmland and ground water.
But this is business and agribusiness at that not rights for we the people.

I am in favor of Hemp and canna-business by the way. But I feel it is my duty to point out that we voted no twice for commerce with the Initiative process.

Are you already getting signatures Ernst? Make the dream a reality. I would vote for it.
I am working the people angle right now. I am unsure what is happening except that only public debate I saw so far required one to buy a ticket for a show.
There was talk of them touring as long as they made money.

If anything the prop19 types should appreciate the irony of cannabis people voting no last November and hopefully they realize we will vote no again and will stand with the no-cannabis ever people of California.
Gotta do something for the cannabis people who actually go to jail. A corporation cannot smoke a joint or go to jail.

If we cannot have freedom then vote no on any "legalization" on the ballot in 2012!!!

I have to agree that fine cannabis would have a market but it would be a very small niche as I think most people would grow their own or have a family member or friend who does, having simply 2 to 4 plants in your vegetable garden will quench the thirst of one man and his family, certainly not preeching to the choir here but to many people weed is weed as long as it gets them stoned it is no different to them, I remind myself of that as a grower each time I am forced to chop down a plant which I think could of gone a little longer for production/time/space reasons, I think ah this one is for Johnny he will be happy either way. The people who have a consiuers taste for cannabis are few and far between.

Don't get me wrong there will be many who would buy their cannabis from the store simply because its easier or they don't know anyone who grows or grow it for themselves but it would not be a multi-billion dollar industry as some predict. Consequently it will be in the hands of people and small business - WIN WIN - perhaps it is worth billions now but it would only be millions under legalization that allows us to grow.

So long as they allow people to grow it relatively unrestricted the people will win.

Clicked the wrong one lol. People first just cause there wasnt a patients first option
Thanks for voting. All I am about is your cannabis freedom. I won't sell you out.
I have a question.
What rights for medical people would you improve? We can craft an initiative that will grant more rights for us all so would no limits on plant counts be better? Keep the doctor concerned with your health not keep the doctor in the drug business when he has you pay more for plant counts?

Why is it his decision what size garden you have?

this is a stupid debate.

of course it should be perfectly legal to grow at home And to sell as a business.

business worrying about the homegrower is about 10 times more ridiculous than the homegrower worrying about the business man. (buying up all the best strains f.e)

first of all, most people wouldnt grow. because many of the best growers would sell. and if the prices would come down to sane levels, the competition would keep the price right.

but continuing on this line of reasoning is banine, futile. because its not a sane world, its brains are stuffed with money.
in the land of the free, marijuana is not being legalized because peoples freedoms are taken away, sure it floats around bit that its because sick people need mj, but its profit thats driving the boat and making it possible.

and that, in turn, might fuckit all up. there are probably going to be some ridiculous laws making sure the profit is in the "right" hands. keeping prices way up,of course this bullshit cockamame scheme will fall apart and another take its place paving the way for another bunch of victims to be brutalized and poorer and a few select ones more filthy rich (allready so filthy rich you cant see them)

You make some good points but to think that more people would not grow is simply not true, many more people would grow or try to and see how simple it is, OUTDOORS its EASIER and CHEAPER then growing your own vegetables! The fact is that the vast majority of gardeners simply dont grow it BECAUSE its illegal, and secondly because its illegal it must be hidden and is not done openly, people will openly grow it in their 2acre yards in the suburbs. Its not that anyone can grow GREAT marijuana but anyone can grow Marijuana which is satisfactory for themselves and the vast majority of their friends/family!

To think that those law abiding folks out there won't want to buy books, supplies and seeds is a false concept. That is where the money is at.
Sure the by the pound price has to drop but business will survive..

Remember we didn't vote for business with prop 215 but yet business found a way. The only way to legalize for all people is to legalize for all people. We just need to face facts that California has voted twice against business so the chances for a third initiative to pass with business language is slime to none when we consider the voting history.

You see it takes two events to form a pattern. We voted yes once for people with medical and we voted no twice for business.

What we do has to work in Turlock and in Oakland,L.A. or Humboldt.
The only thing I see working everywhere is freedom for the people.

there would still be money to be made in the marijuana trade, even if it is an individual thing.
just think of the cottage industries that would spring up...
indoor lighting
nutrients
security issues...you couldn't just grow in your yard...there will still be lazy theives
smoking utensils... paraphernalia etc
growing equipment...hydro etc...
so there would still be money to be made.

Agreed..

In time as the near 600 jurisdictions get used to cannabis freedom I'm sure fine cannabis shops will be allowed and will make good money selling exotic produce but the real money is in selling grow supplies and electricity in my opinion.
This can happen if we all support the people this time and skip the combination initiative that promotes commerce and limited Horticulture rights for the people.

Especially when you only allow two choices.
I am pointing out that you seem to not be able to understand statistical polling.

The results your polls provide are just to make you happy.

Like what you suggest for us Horticulture people you just don't care.

We are able to think for ourselves and two of my polls shows we approve of Freedom for the people.
