Lets talk humates...

FULVIC ACID is the most bioactive part of humates,so why does any 1 buy humic acid also???I dont think its needed if ur using the superior fulvic acid.Seems like overkill and a waste of money,does NE1 disagree???

Theres nothing you can add or subtract that we havnt already tried. But I do invite you to experiment and tweak it just how you like it thats the whole point.

See quote -- in other words, he's saying sub would have already tried variations of this and he's telling you it won't make a difference.

From what I've read fulvic acid is more effective for foliar feeding as far as aborption comapred to in ground where humic is more effective. That's just something I read somewhere -- don't know if it's actually correct. I would guess if you're gung ho on fulvic then just foliar feed with it.

Everyone wants to bump up yields always, but the fact is at a certain point there is only much so much you are going to get per watt from in ground organics once your soil mix is dialed in. Maybe there's something else that could be added that would improve yields in supersoil, but everything that's commonly known of sub would have already tried, so there's really no point in even asking unless it's something new that sub would not have tried before. If you think something is missing from supersoil, I'm sure sub would be open to changing his mind when shown well documented proof (ie a documented grow log with results, probably more than one). Other than that you're basically going to the people who make coke and saying 'I think it would be better if you add this:' -- the people who make coke like sub are already quite happy with their formula. You're going to have to show him something groundbreaking with proof to change his mind.

But to answer your question, you should foliar feed with fulvic acid. Its molecular size is smaller than that of the humic acids molecules, therefore can diffuse into the leaves easier.

Humic acid makes a great soil conditioner and root drench. Fulivc can of course be a great root drench as well.

In short, fulvic foliar, humic humus. Youll never forget now which to use for which

If ya want to make Supersoil better...just make sure you use the best of the best of amendments...like for instance.....I could go and buy worm-castings at Indoor Garden/hydrostore. They are usually powdery and dry somewhat from what Ive seen. Or you can do like me and find the best worm farm in the area and then buy the more expensive finely sifted grade castings. Complete with spring-tails and tons of micro-fauna. Then when you get 2-3 weeks into flower make a nice foamy tea from the castings along with Kelp Meal molasses and Humic acid. Leave the guano out of this tea as you want to produce a bio based tea not fungi. This will make the amendments in the supersoil more available to your plants. I make mine with a big airstone and a aquarium heater set at 73 degrees. Takes about 30 hours to get good and slimey..shit this stuff almost walks to the plants itself its so alive with microbes. When I started doing this I got 1/4th more outta each plant. I also water every 2 - 3 waterings in flower with 1-3 teaspoon happyfrog 0-5-0 guano....Until I see that they have had enuff.

As for changeing subcools recipe...why fix it if its working flippin awesome. He has tweeked it over the space of years. Not only him but all his growing buddies over the years all working together on it. So I just add to it my spin and its been incredible.

Not trying to advertize here but I tried a new organic product that is a carb loader plus made my plants really bulk up. Its called Carburetor and has a pic of a v-8 engine on the front. Its certified organic and my plants have never been more resin heavy.
