Levo 2 or Source Extract

I am looking to do some oil for the missus, currently buying the stuff and would like to make my own but looking at these two units I am confused as to which if any would be the best, she currently uses the drops under the tounge for anthritus and is very oily consistency and is what I'm hoping to replicate but the vids on youtube for the source unit seems to be taking it down ta a shattuck consistency and is too thick for oil use as it stands I know that it's diluted with coconut oil or her mediums, on the other hand the Levo 2 is the right consistency but I would think that the distillation process of the Source unit would be a purer product.

New area for me so it's gonna seem a stupid question for those in th know.

You can remove enough alcohol using an Extract Craft to end up with a tincture. You can also remove the alcohol and add the oil or butter to the concentrate while still in the Extract Craft and mix.

So leave some alcohol in to keep it fluid, and add oil and flavour to taste as you go, sounds good.

You can remove all the visible alcohol and then add oil while it is still hot and molten.

You mean using the Extract Craft Turbo, what is the best oil to use in your opinion

The Magical Butter Machine makes excellent coconut oil at a decent price.

I have looked at that machine, I'm still undecided on which one to buy, the levo 2 looks very good but not sure on the quality as it infuses the product

As I understand the Levo it just passes the oil through the bud again and again, melting down the trichomes.

The MBM has a blade that chops the bud fine and leaves more surface area for dissolving resin.

I bought an MBM for my brother last Christmas, he's made 4 batches so far easy as pie!

So I can give you a personal reference for the MBM.

Depends on your purpose and personal taste. I've used most of the vegetable and nut oils, as well as butter and ghee. They were all good.

My partner doesn't like the taste of the green, so really i'm looking for something that will give the benefits without too much of the green taste, and looking at the MBM I would think it would produce a strong tasting end product because of the blade, I am going to flavour the oil anyway just looking to find out as much as we can before buying what I hope will be the best machine for our needs.

I don't know what oil they use in the one we are buying at the moment, but as you say it's just a matter of trying the rang of oils that's available.
