LIBERTY HAZE- the most perplexing strain ever?

Are your 3 libs from 3 differant seeds or clones of 1 seed? If there dif seeds are they all the same or compley Dif phenos.

I think barneys put 60 to 65 days because lib haze should be harvested at the point when the trichomes just milk over giving a soaring energetic uplifting high as described on barneys website. I think if you wait for amber trichs you could be waiting a long time. What are your thoughts on this?

Milky for peak potency seems to be the concensus. I've always just waited for the amber to show on ALL my strains. Like I said that's just how I did it without losing alot of yield. Buds dont seem to get any bigger the last week but I think they get more dense.

It would appear the liberty Haze is a bit less inbred than the LSD.

My thoughts are Barney has an unstable strain and that very few Haze plants finish in 60-65 days. C99 is considered legendary for a reason. Wait until you see a few amber trichromes for peak potency, or harvest early because Barney's Farm has misleading advertising, your call.

Also, is this plant really Chem x G13? I'm pretty sure that's an indica dominant plant, so I have my doubts.

heres a liberty haze bud shot at day 55. Switched back to mh and straight water for the last ten days. Ya ide love to wait for amber but there in with 30 fast flowering hybrids that are so done at 60 days. So ill take them all at day 62 and see what happens. By the way i emailed barneys with questions on this strain. Never responded back.

Nice to have found this thread! My first indoor grow and I have 2 LSD and 2 Barneys Violator Kush...thats out of TEN seeds. None of the others sprouted...grrrrrrrr...so yeh..Barney's IS finicky..What a wa$te! BUT...the ones that did pop...WOWWWW!! I let em' get big so I didn't waste the space I have them in. A room I just built a few months ago 4'wide 12' long 7' high. I let em veg 2 monhs..The last 7 photos are about one week into flower..but I'll take more photos being I'm into the end of the second week yesterday and it's looking pretty different. Pretty lush shit!! How does it smoke? anyone know? Can't wait!

Nice room same dimensions as mine. Here is the back of my garden, liberty haze sticking out in the back.. tomorrow is day 62 harvest day.i have 39 plants in here with five 600 watt lights. 2-3 zs per plant. Hydro on rockwool slabs. All the liberty haze trichomes have milked over and 80% red hairs so they should be at peak potency.

Thats a lotta lights bro...nice electric bill? I know..big deal being you're producing a lot of bud!! One thing I think I learned growing the four plants that lived is...bigger plants in a four foot wide room and one light...gets crowded and the light doesn't see the center of the plants all that well after I staked em up...Still though...with only 4 plants and vegging one month longer than I would have had they all popped I'm probably all in all gonna get more bud even with that extra month of grow than I would had I kept them smaller...Next grow I'm changing things a lot....need another 600 w light/ballast..prolly convert a switchable to 220 being I have a 220 outlet in the room...also go SCROG/LST or similar which'd be new to me..although I did try LSTing these girls but I thought of that kinda late into the grow and it made it too difficult plus my pots are kinda narrow...deep...but narrow (just under 5 gallon- airpots) Might score some cloth pots additional to my airpots too and compare grows. Any good leads for a good ballast? Thinking Lumatek LK600....I see em' for around $135ish...and I like the cool tube I have so I'll prolly get another...Great price IMO...http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QKVV04/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00 the one bad review...the guys an idiot...lol...I scored it cuz it's a nice biggish size..the bad reviewer said it was deceiving b/c it's bigger than "standard" so he gives it a bad review...moron..the size is right there too..hahaha...must be crack he's smokin'...lol.

I can only recommend lumatek ballasts. I have 5 600 watters 220vac. Been using the same fivor seven years without a failure. A 600 watt supposely puts out close to the same lumens as a 1000watt old school ballast. They fire my 600 watt agromax digi pulse mh for veg my 600 hps and my 600 sunpulse uva mh finishing bulbs. Highly recomend lumatek.

On my flower...97000 Lumens...$70 from Amazon...some Japanese bulb for MH...worked ok but I'll use it for a spare and score another good Ushio for my next grow. Stoopid to skimp on the quality with all that goes into this! How many ballasts can you run on one 220 outlet with your 600's?
edit: whats a finishing MH bulb all about vs just the HPS for flower???

I use a green air products heavy duty light timer wired to a 30 amp breaker in my breaker box. I can plug 8 600 watt lights into it. Been using that timer for 12 yrs 5 crops a year,i have had no problems with it. Check the amps of that receptical. You could remove the receptical and hard wire a light timer rt to that circuit.

wow...thats pretty impressive...didn't realize you could run so much wattage off one 220 line..If I do connect the 220 I should probably wire in a timer as well as long as I have a screwdriver in my hand...I'll give the Green Air Products a look at...thanks for the reccomondo bro..

Ya with 220 its half the current draw. The timer comes with a 5 foot cable hanging out of it so easy to install

i have gotten the same pheno. im at day 60 an she needs about 2 or 3 more weeks imo
it smells like bubblegum..... drooling !!!
since i only had this one plant im seriously thinking about re vegging her to take some clones. just watching her grow...well lets say i kind of fell in love

she seemed quite robust to me, the only thing she did not respond well to was to much water on the roots (to wet to cold2-4 days). she REALLY didnt like that. anything else was shrugged of like notn happend.

man i gotta tell you the way she keeps spinning and growing it just hypnotized me.

day 62 today harvest tonight. 90% red hairs all milked over trichomes. Shes ready smells like limes though. Bubblegum smell you have is interesting. Are your trichomes milky or are you waiting for amber?

ive tried liberty haze took me 13 weeks for a few amber trichs and was phenomenal

I have 4 Liberty Hazes going right now. They were topped early on and are now about 5 feet tall and nice and bushy. There are a few pistils showing so I hope they will be starting to flower in the next few weeks.

Wow looks nice. Sativa dominant like mine. I just harvested 3 days ago at 63 days smells and looks amazing. She started showing pistols around day 10 of flowering so you are probally ten days in rt now. Heres a couple of harvest pics of her.View attachment 2297460
