Light and ballast set up help

Hi everyone Ive been reading up on this forum for a while but this is my first post.

I recently acquired a new dual ballast for 400 watt hps and mh lights. Unfortunately the thing weighs more than four cinder blocks, a v8 engine and my child put together. Im looking for an inexpensive way to temporarily mount the light until I set up some steel shelving for its hooks and chains.

One random idea was puttin two chairs by each other and resting the unit on top.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

an engine hoist?
how about removing the ballast from the fixture to lighten up the load that hangs? the ballast can be set lower.

Set it on the floor.... Should have a 15 foot cord.....

can make a temp stand with 2x4's and hang it with chains. 2x4 cost like 3$
