Here is where u all havebeen hiding...lol
I miss my patch! I just cleared out all my spent plants and sneaky weeds. I have a big ass tree type weed growing deep, and I have pulled out tons onf hunks of it but I cant reach the source and it keeps popping up/ It spans across the whole garden. I tilled over a foot deep and deeper in other areas just to pull a hunk out and have it grow back over the summer..
Is there anything I can do to treat for weeds now so next year i can have less...

When you are taking out a tree or bush that can send up shoots from the roots, it's often effective to cut the thing down to a stump, a few inches above ground, then drill a bunch of deep, 1/2" holes in the stump which you can fill with straight Zero/Roundup or a purpose specific tree/blackberry poison/herbicide. Plug the herbicide filled holes with BluTack or modeling clay. This exploits the existing plumbing to conduct herbicide to the roots. Keep filling the holes for about 8 weeks or until you see no more shoots.

Unfortunately, you have already taken out your stump and have to chase roots around. Next time you see a shoot, follow it to the root it is coming from. Drill holes in the root and fill them with herbicide with a 10ml syringe. Again, plug the filled holes with BluTack or modeling clay. That one won't reshoot. It'll be whack-a-mole for a while, but you will eventually get them all. Trying to pull up roots from a plant like this will make your job harder. Find & poison.

aw, shucks.

It just so happens I have a couple of persistent trees that I cut down last year that are still trying to send up shoots... and I'm still poisoning the fuckers... :?

Whack-a-mole, I love that game... This is going to be funner than I thought... The good thing is, I left the shoots grow over the last two months so I would know where to find the root when it was time to dig it up. I like the poisoning idea sooo much better... Now I just have to stick a syringe into that bastard and Over dose it. Sounds easy enuff....

By the way Sparky, nice patch, and beautiful lookin bud dryer... I would pay for one of those if I could. Looks complicated to make. U even have drawers, that thing is nicer than my clothes dresser...

Haha. No, I didnt get it from Goodfellas. Haven't even heard of that before? And I'm not growing it for my cat. I don't even have a cat, I hate cats. Haha. I am just growing them indoors, because I want to, and the lupine would be for my mom's birthday, because she loves plants, and the mint would be for me cooking. Just doing this for fun. :D

I've started building this...I was wondering where you can get those latches and hinges for the door. Do you have a close up pic of them?
Thanks.
