Light burn? Heat stress? Root problems?

What I meant by rotating is they continued to get worse even after rotating. Seems like it was probably light stress, possibly low humidity. They all vary from 1-3 inches in size difference. It was just weird to me how some top leaves were fine while some bottom leaves were getting affected? Probably it was heat stress / low humidity and some light stress too. Thanks for your input!
I'd still measure that light output. Heck use a smartphone. And pluck a leaf and look at it outside your tent, if it's darker than the Incredible Hulk green then you might have a Nute lockout going on.

This is my third grow, don’t get me wrong the first two were absolutely very good quality. As much as I thought the third one was going smoothly, it took a turn fcol. I raised the lights as far as I can, I will trim off dead leaves and will feed lower ppms. See what happens in the next 2 weeks. What’s your growing style that gets you the most yield? No topping / once / multiple times, super crop, lst, scrog, sog, manifold etc?

My little experience, outdoor grow will get you the most yields. Can't beat the natural sun.

I agree with the previous poster that you need to check out what VPD you are running - really helps to dial in a room. I’d guess ur leaf temps are 4 degrees shy of ambient temp, so check out this chart with your room specs…

You’re running a VPD around 2, which I’d be freaking about lol
This is the first change I’d make - get ur vpd on point and buy a basic ir gun

Totally agree I right away assumed rh had something to do with the problem. Thanks for that chart. I have never needed to use my humidifier and when I tried using it, turns out it doesn’t work anymore. Out of luck, I’d expect the colder days to raise my rh. Right now it’s at 48 rh so not too bad. And I do have a ir gun I’ll check out that it reads.

springtails? please explain, my next grow is gonna be dry amendments only.
Springtails are small white larvae that jump around and live inside the whole medium, can be mistaken with gnat larvae, apparently gnat larvae only live on top few inches of medium. Don’t get discouraged growing with dry amendments I belief the ones I was using went bad on me, that’s what caused the problem. I was using earth dust. As long as you keep it well maintained away from humidity while it’s still in the packaging you’ll be fine. Also don’t overwater too often. Dry amendments should be dead plant material so anything it attracts will most likely be beneficial eating dead roots or the dead plant material and won’t feed off your live plant. Long story short my room got flooded with 2 different type of bugs. First it was tiny small dots that loved living in cardboard, as soon as I thought that was taken care of, my pots were flooded with springtails too. Springtails apparently don’t do any harm, end product was still A1

lmfao...copy ..I might PM ya later on, because Earth Dust is what I have ready to go with. Yeah, dealing with soil gnats myself and last week watering found little red centipedes in there too .. crud... all part of it I guess, I mean if little bugs can live off of it, has to be a good sign of healthy soil!! Gotta be! LOL... alright.

Vpdchart.com - just play around with the numbers and you’ll get an idea of where you’d like to be, it’s nice because you can change things around to suit you enviro. Understanding vpd actually brings a lot of flexibility to your grow once you get the hang of it.

I’ve seen some of his videos a while back. Was always impressed on his quality with only dry amendments. My last grow got flooded with springtails so now I use dry amendments with caution.
That’s a great thing! Spring tails are a sign of soil health - great little decomposers that work hard in the soil food web.

Pick out the centipedes - they are too dominant a predator typically, and will go after beneficials as well

My earth dust got a bit clumpy possibly due to humidity, so it went bad. As long as it’s still broken down like sand you’ll be fine. Haha that’s one positive way to look at it. Also I never reuse any medium whatsoever, I worry too much lol

I'm curious about this and need to ask, if you have to pH adjust your water, are you using the same product as your last two grows?

yes still ph adjusting the water between 5.8 - 6.2 in coco with a third of worm castings. Yes I’m using the exact same products, I stopped using mykos and bottled beneficial bacteria cause I worried about the springtails but I shortly after continued using bottled bennies, I won’t worry too much about springtails, some people even purposely buy medium loaded with springtails.

I was asking because Earth Dust recommended organic pH crystals. I'm currently using General Hydroponics pH Down. Advertised as a food grade phosphoric acid. Haven't read anything negative about it, not yet anyways..lol. Have a buddy who won't share his bottle that he claims is agriculture grade pH adjuster. Swear to God when he uses it he turns the label away from me...I'm like really... you for real? lmfao... anyways, just thought there might be something there. Well, dam, hope you figure it out, keep us posted please.
