same old story... had to go away for a couple days and did not raise my lights. this is the plants last week of vegging. the top of two of the cola's are burnt pretty bad. so i raised the lights and have been spraying the burnt leaves alot. my question is can a severely burnt section recover with a little time an moisture or should i clip the two tops and send her into flowering? I appreciate any insight.... peace.

i dont think its agood idea sprayin the plants(unless lights out) because where you spray it magnifys the light.and water is a good heat conductor

i've never had kola's until i was in flower for a while..... hehe

seriously, if your in veg still you can cut or not cut, it will heal. give it a week or so to recover and you'll be good. you dont want to put a stressed plant into flower.

also, i dont spray my plants unless they need some fine tuning......too big a chance to go moldy when you spray, especially in winter. and dont spray your buds once they start forming, they will hold the water and mold out on you.

welcome to the forum... didnt even notice how new you are to RIU.
No worries, i cant smell the newb..... i have a stuffed up nose at the moment. lol
I still consider myself a beginer, dont know if i've got newb status but i try to learn something new everyday......so i dont think i'm an expert by any means.
you'll figure out your grow in time, everyones is different, and we all have issues at times, but your in the right place.

I agree with figtree. I burned my plants on the light one time while moving them around but I was in flower. The part the was burned will not heal, but the plant will still grow and bud. It may be stunted for a few days but it will live on. As for spraying, it's not going to make the burnt part of the leaf come back to life. That part is dead but new growth will be fine.

Happened to me while budding, burned it on a 400 watter HPS. The top of the cola took forever to heal and almost seemed to be stunted and did not look like a normal top.
