This is my second grow, first time the plant only produced about 3.5, (of the most tastiest!) and I just learned that it should've been getting more than 12 hrs light so that may have been the problem... I also didn't know about making sure there were no light leaks...
Now I have some lemon skunk and great white shark babies that had their first true leaves 6/20, but were only getting 12 hours light until about 2 weeks ago. I believe it is why the leaves were only producing 3 fingers... Now that they are getting 24 hours (with the miracle grow and sunblaster listed below) the leaves are coming out 5 fingered...
I had a heck of a pain the butt kind of time trying to get these expensive (to me) seeds, so I don't want to give up on them... I think they are looking okay, now. I am trying to do the LST method and indeed, there are multiple sites that look like they may produce a main cola... Problem is, when it is time for flowering I have no clue which of the lights I have will be "most suitable" because I cannot afford to spend a dime on lighting until after Christmas, but am willing to try using something i have, lesson will be learned if these lights are not good... Am in the process of making a secondary location, lining with mylar and will be totally light-free for 12 hours. How tall should the branches be before putting them into flowering stage?
Here are my choices for what light/s to use for budding:
2 Yescom panels, 3375 lumen, white 7700
Miracle grow LED absolute daylight 4 ft strip, 5400 lumen
Sunblaster horticultural light, full spectrum 6400k
goose-neck "bloom" lights, LEDs: 26 (630nm)red, 14 (460nm)blue.
NOTE: my birthday is coming up and everyone keeps asking me what I want... if anyone knows of a good light for flowering that is under 100$ I may be able to get it...
Attached picture is in the hope of validation from someone that "they look like they'll be okay"
