It is science, pure and simple. Everyone knows someone that has thrown a couple seeds next to the porch and the next thing you know, there is a plant. It will probably continue to grow left on its own and nothing bad happens. This site is about maximizing your investment in time, energy and equipment to take growing to a whole new level. Laziness has nothing to do with it. I have 4 timers. One in my veg room that controls the lights. I have 3 in my flowering room. One controls my HPS light, one controls my CO2 gauge and one turns my fan & carbon scrubber on and off. If I had to remember what to do when I would spend all my time running up and down the stairs. I also wouldn't be able to leave and go to my job and have a life. By controlling the envoirnment with timers I am able to visit my ladies 2x a day, check & spritz clones, make sure all is well and enjoy the experience of knowing that these timers are on my team and are valued contributors to the end product. Anyone can grow some OK bagseed. I grow Chronic, and I need timers to help me. I tell all my plants - Be all you can be! It is my job as the grower to see that the they get what they need. After all, there is also an issue of pride in looking at the end product and saying - Hell Yeah, I grew that Chronic!
