Light Cycle Question, Addvice needed, Welcomed.

This is my second grow, (Kiwiskunk 3, Motavation 1) First grow was Troublesome. Ive been on a 24/24 light cycle up to this point, 28 days. Im in FFOF, 400w digital ballest, Mh,Hps, No nutes yet, 3gal. pots. First 28 days useing the Mh. My question is...Will it benifit the girls if i switch to the Hps now (after 28 days) and go from 24/24 to 20/4 for the next week then go to 18/6 for a week then 12/12 for flowering. Will this be a benifit to the girls or will the "changes in the light cycle, 24/24, 20/4, 18/6, 12/12, stress them to much. Should i just go from 24/24 to 12/12?? All comments and addvice welcomed.

for me just make the switch from 24/24 strait to 12/12, when you ready, and change the bulb to HPS all at the same time.

Personaly I would just go straight to the 18-6 and keep it there till you want to Flower.
Then I would give them 24-36 hrs of total dark and then go 12-12.
I use 2 400 watt HPS. for every thing.
