Light fell on plant

Last night my LED panel fell on my plant. Broke all the branches.
She was 6 weeks into flower. This happen to anybody else?
The pics are what's left. I'm going to try to keep her alive, see if I can reveg her.
Anyone think this'll work?

Yes. I've revegged plants this late in flower, although, not with so few leaves. It takes a while and will go through some strange growth, but it can be done.

The lack of leaves are my main concern, but the root system is well established, should be interesting to try.
There was a thread I was reading where a scientist had argued that you should harvest while the trichomes are still clear as his test results suggested that the THC was at it's highest levels then. Guess I'l be running an unwilling experiment on that!
 
Damn man that's a tough card to be dealt. It should be capable of being revegged, but would it be worth it versus starting new seeds, is what I'm wondering. But in any event, I hope you have better fortune in your next grow :)

I have plenty of room for vegging plants, but I can only flower one at a time. I figure my indica will be done by the time she's ready to go back into flower.
 
That sucks, i usually break some branches on accident on atleast one plant every run . Dropped lights and broke a bunch of plants in the past. You can reveg that

Well, she died. The break on the main stem never stopped leaking sap. I woke up to find a crusty white coating of dried sap on the tiny leaves and shortly after that they all started to turn brown and fall off.
On the plus side that paper saying the THC is at it's highest when the trichomes are clear might be right. I dried what I could get off of her, cured it for a week, and last night I decarbed some. Made a couple of edibles, using a little more than I usually would, and I had a great evening. Got enough for a few weeks worth from her.

you need to reverse that. veg area smaller than flower in a two light rotation. in a space where only one plant can flower is a space where 4-5 can veg in smaller buckets. veg as many as you can in the veg space (originally the flower space) when you put them in flower (originally veg space) take clones and repeat the process. You have 8-9 weeks of flower which gives the vegging clones 3-4 weeks to get rooted great, veg for another 4-5 weeks by that time the flower area plants are done, move veg plants to flower take clones again, rinse and repeat. you will have a harvest every 2 months or so 6 harvests a year. the way you have it setup now makes zero sense to keep it that way. If you are vegging 3-4 plants in the larger veg area and only flowering 1 at a time, what happens to other 2-3 plants still vegging? They would see 4,6,8 months of vegging before they see the flower tent...not sure how that is possible as they would be trees at that point, unless you're vegging 1 plant at a time. if you have the space for a two light rotation, and your vegging 1 plant at a time is mind boggling. You pack as many as you can in veg than flower all at once in flower room (originally larger veg room) and take clones. Your missing out on massive potential.

Thanks for the advice, but I only grow for personal use. That kind of setup is waaay more than I need. Besides, my veg space is impossible to seal off, there are way too may light sources, including natural light.

How many strains did this scientist test the theory on? Sounds like BS to me even if it is true it can't be by much and the clear trichomes are a more head high which I like but most people prefer more of a mellow high. I don't think this scientist has ever smoked or grown.
 
I can't remember who he was, but I think I heard the American researchers are only allowed to use one specific strain. I'll try to find his name or at least where the study was done.
Either way, the results of my informal test are that there is definitely plenty of THC in what I was able to recover from the plant. Not quite as much as from some of the product from the legal supply here, but it'll still get you high. I don't smoke much, so I can't vouch for the taste, but my homemade edibles are working pretty well.
It is definitely a head high. The strain was supposed to be Haze Extreme, but I got the seed from a buddy with a medical grow, and he can be a little...inaccurate...in his recollection.

Yeah the clear trichomes give a really big head high that makes you feel more high. If they only use one strain you can't really believe what they say is actual science. If there's like a 10-20% difference maybe it's valid but if it's 1 strain an you see like a 5% difference that's not close to conclusive.
