If you're gonna spend the money, spend it on something stronger than those. You won't get much outta them, and then you'll just end up buying something better anyway.

If you want a cheap light that promotes growth but isnt used all day.(meanin take the plant give it natural light through a window then put it under this light to make up for missed light.) Go to walmart and get a plant and aqaurium light.

Sounds like you have your mind made up about that light already bro, so buy it. Just don't expect anything even close to above average. You can't make chicken salad outta chicken shit. Good luck.

no i havent made my mind up i was just askin if it was any good as i need a light to keep a mother plant im buying in veg so i can take some clones off of it

Just dangle a few 42 W CFL's around it, like 3 or 4.. Sounds like alot, but they gotta be close, so you need a few of them around the plant for good penetration.
Othere than that, look into a small MH light.
