Light for vegging?

I'm looking into buying my first 1000watt hood, bulb, and ballist

My question is, what's everyone's opinion on the switchable ones that go from hps to Mh

I have a 5x6 closet I've been having great success with mothering a plant and
Cloning off of her
Basically I'm running out of room for the 2 4ft t5s I have in there and want more light

I Was wondering if i could kill two birds with one stone and grab the switchable
Mh/hps 1000 watt

And if the the 1000watt mh
Would be better than 2 4ft t5 ballists
I have in there now...???

1,000 sounds perfect for a 5 x 6. Just make sure you keep good ventilation, as it will get hot in there. Most lights sold are switchable today. I run 600w in a 4 x 4 tent and do well. You could optionally also still include your T5's down closer to the floor to get the lower sites later in the grow. Good luck. Peace

1000w MH is the way to go as far as vegging/moms go. Far superior light compared to t5's and most 1000w digital ballast can use MH/HPS.

I like using 1000w MH for veg.. make them explode. T5ho 4ft 8 bulb for mothers would be great. And 1000w hps for flower.
