Light from naked flame Gas Co2 generator when lights are off

I recently bought a little single flame heater Co2 generator. It will need to be turned off manually during lights off but was wondering if I forget or am not at home and it stays on will the light given off by the flame cause problems?
The little machine seems to work well even with fans on. My 4' x 8' tent was 450ppm Co2. When I put the heater on (6' extractor fan on about 40%, passive inlet) it goes up to about 650 - 700ppm. In my 5' x 4' room it goes up to 950ppm fans same, on about 40%.
The flame is about twice the size of a candle flame and yellow in colour. I struggle to keep temps up as I grow in outbuildings North UK. Recently switched to LED and my first grow with them was disastrous.

Sometimes you feel better if you just do something. Rig up something like a lampshade if it will make you feel better.
I did think about leaning a slate or 2 over it. As it is I can put it in the room and remove it when lights go on and off so no worries. Done a few tests and my normal room Co2 with intake and exhaust fans on is 413ppm with this machine on it is a steady 600-700ppm and still getting air exchange, every little helps. Must admit the plants seem to be loving it defiantly drinking more and growing very fast.

I made an alcohol lamp burning methyl hydrate aka methanol aka wood alcohol I get at the hardware store for $12/4L. The lamp only burns 100 - 125ml in 12 hours. 3/16" copper tube with a cotton shoelace for a wick. Cost me SFA.

If you look close you can see the blue flame at the top. I have a simple CO2 controller and it tells me I get over 1500 in about 20 min in my 9x7x6.5'h grow room. Manual on/off. :)

Version 1.0 that was way overkill for my room. 3/8" tubing with tiki torch wicks. Shit soldering job too but I'm used to wires. :) Didn't leak tho.
