I've been doing my research for a week on which LED lights I should get for my 4x4 tent. I was thinking of getting 2 mars hydro ts 600w full spec led. Will this be enough light to flower the girls with? any suggestions?? I'm open to anything that works guys thanks! trying to find the most efficient lights for veg & flower

One HLG 550V2 Rspec if you aren't comfortable building a cob or quantum board fixture. Don't buy junk. You will need to buy junk again quickly and the bud density will be shit with blurples.

I really think the sacrifice of the extra red from 3500, makes 3000 really the very best option for sure. Now where these do have the added red because they're r-spec, I don't know for sure. But everyone I've talked to has said 3000K was just better.

According the randomblame( fk i miss that dude) 3000k with a mix of 80 and 90 cri was an optimal spectrum.

I cant tell you why because im not smart enough, i can say tho, i built my lights with all 3000k, half 80cri and half 90cri and the combo has been a winner.

I dont think you can go wrong with the 3000k for flowering.

Do your homework... if you look anywhere they are selling this light it tells you it's max coverage (veg coverage) is a 2x2 area and its core coverage (flower coverage) is a 1.5x1.5 area. so it is meant to cover 3-4 square feet. 2 of these would cover 6-8 square feet. there are 16 square feet in a 4x4 tent. If you are wanting to do a 4x4 area get 2 of the tsl 2000's or better yet 2 of the sp 250's. if you are limited by a budget and can only afford the 2 ts600's then just get 1 tsl 2000 or sp 250 and do a 2x4 tent. If you try to fill a 4x4 and fill it up with plants and only use 2 ts600s to light it, you will be very disappointed with your results.

if you can afford the HLG boards then they are a big step up in price but also in quality and efficiency. worth the money in my opinion. Now if you don't have the money for a bigger light and you really want to go with a 4x4 tent, another option would be to get the 4x4 and buy smaller lights over a period of time to gradually fill up the tent with light... buy one mars hydro sp250 now and later when you can afford it get a 2nd one. if you go with the hlg lights you could get 1 smaller light now and later buy another and another and just hang multiple lights in there until you have enough to fully cover it.

My 30 day old plants with 3500k lighting are MUCH more full then any 3000k quantum grows depicted on RIU........theres the proof, u are wrong. Two large plants are 31 days up from the ground, the lil girl is a 23 day old WW:

I'm no master grower, just have superior lighting. 3500k QB\s win.
