is a 5000k light daylight light okay for vegging i use a 6500k but a have 85w one thats 5000k

ya just keep your plants close but not too close to the light. Place your hand at the top of the plant and if your hand is uncomfortable after a minute of leaving it there than your light is too hot.
In veg, the more light the better! Sometimes i will place my plants in the sun for an hour or so and this really boosts their growth and health.

I mean it won't harm your plant, but it's generally better to use a 6400k for vegging. If you already have it, use it, but otherwise I would get another 6400k for vegging.
