Light leak in flower, im screwed and worried

Hmmmm. let's see here...it is a known fact that a plant's potency and gender are in the DNA of the seed it comes from. But a little light or not so perfect growing conditions magically alters that? What a completely contradictory theory that is. I have grown outdoors and had all kinds of light spilling on them at night and NEVER had any problems. Now all of a sudden growing indoors changes this? Bullshit! So many myths on the internet. Peace.

Try to hermie a female plant with good genetics on purpose by using light leaks and you will see that it is very difficult if not impossible. I would question the breeders and the genetics you deal with if plants are producing both sexes... for any reason. Most Breeders are grimey like dealers. They have no quams about sending seeds produced from a hermied plant to the states. Why waste 'em when they can sell them to us Americans who can do nothing about it. They don't care because they already have the money we spent and there are 100 more suckers behind us ready to spend. I gave up on seedbanks and shit, now I am fortunate enough to have found a couple of good connections here in NYC and I know exactly what and who I'm dealing with. The only breeder I would halfway trust is Subcool, 15 years of breeding to perfect his Black Russian. Hard as hell to get any of his goodies though.

That's not true at all. A plant's POTENTIAL potency and POTENTIAL gender are determined by its DNA. A plant's environment determines how much of that potential it will achieve. So yeah, a little light or not so perfect growing condition can alter potency and gender, but it isn't magical, its biology.

This is very true but also very rare. I have stepped on plants and neglected plants and all types of crazy shit over the years and have very rarely seen hermies.. until I started ordering seeds online. I have grown hermies from almost every top seedbank on the net. They sell Americans their scraps!

whats a scrap seed look like? my buddy bought seeds from Marijuana Seeds (cannabis Seeds) High Quality Low Prices and he bought the potent package with nirvanas chystal, WW, Ice, and got 5 free afgani. i think he paid 100 bucks. hes been growing them for a month or so now i think he said, maybe a little less. anyways the crystal look like a pure sativa when its supposed to be a cross between NL and WW. some of the plants have really long stems attached to their fan leaves, they really look unperportional, not very full underneath too. Mr. snuffalufagus do you think these could be "scrap" seeds? is there any way to identify a scraper. also where does a scrap seed come from? like what part of the plant produces scrap. anyone else know about these scraps? just puzzled. thank you. My other grow room had light leaks... all came out fine...
same with my current grow... at the top there's a 120 cm 1mm area thats not covered... i use this to get fresh air ^^........ moving out soon... so people wont see evrything i had to steath it ^^ ..... boog'd my warddrobe... anyway's if that hole was pointing on the plants top then u would be fuck'd.....

i have the same problem about 4 weeks in its 6 now and it seems like everthing stopped i cant wait too much past there cycle (upcoming ladys) but the budds seem like they will be sloppy (lose)

It's really a toss up. Genetics are genetics and some are more susceptible then others. You'll have to wait and see. Look for bananas etc. But I'm pretty damn sure your fine. It's more an inconsistent light leak THROUGHOUT the grow or longer then a week and temps that cause Hermie for me.

Black and white sheeting. Hydro farm makes it. But you can get some at your local hydro or maybe home reno for cheap. Its a lot cheaper then duct tape.

i dont need it lol, i have in the past and i had to over lap is like 4 times be 4 light was not able to pass through. around the last week of flower 1 time i seen my led light shining through my intake fan it was just the reflection but no seeds not 1
