light leaks creat hermie?? HUH??

i saw a thread wer someone was talking about having a light leak will creat a hermie..i have no clue at all how this would happen or what he meant about light leak i guess..someone with knowledge on the matter explain pls? i just dont see how covering a light leak with tape would change anything lol.

you're prob talking about what someone just told me in a thread of mine. i think what he means is that a light leak (during your dark period)would disrupt the 12/12 photoperiod of the plant, 12 hours dark causes the flowering hormones in your plant. give em light during the dark period and kiss your flowering hormones goodbye, your girls will stop flowering. anyways disrupting the photoperiod causes major stress on the plant which could potentially cause a hermie

Light leaks are a picky topic to be discussing.

There are those that believe any sort of light leak during your dark period could cause stress on the plant resulting in one of 2 things

or

Reveg

Then there are others that say that as long as the light leak is constant and not a massive light leak then you will be ok.
