light leaks through pc fans??+rep to posters

Have you never seen a PC fan light trap?
In the bottom left corner there is an example of a light trap with a small pc style fan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlELCJSznwM

sorry for horrible diagram... I go for option two I find it has better airlfow but heres a basic idea as to a light trap hope it helps.

I have a damper in my ducting that closes when the fan is off much like that which is found in the exhaust of a furnace. When lights are out, the fan is off and the damper closes, blocking the light. With a furnace, when it's not running, the damper closes, preventing cold air from entering. I have a dedicated fan for the light though, so I don't know if it would apply to your situation.

In the second video the "grow box king of the south" as he calls himself did what I did in design 2 and attached it with what looks like a combination of resin glue and duct tape.
