light leeks vs. heat/vent?

So I have a 400 watt mh/hps grow and I was wondering what's more important
Controlling light leeks and having poor venting with dry hot air or have tons of light loss but having perfect Air quality
Oh by the way its only 2 pants under the light

light leak's are gona cause your plants to hermi and pollinate them selves and produce seeds and using the same stale hot air without replacing it with fresh air will suffocate your plants and they will die....they are both very important why cant you do both

There just in an wide open room with AC but it seems like light is loss BC of large room to a small light

either stop skimping and buy a tent or buy some mylar and get creative staple into the desired size you want problems solved

Ah, I get it now. The "light leak" is just you losing some lumens because you don't have your plants surrounded by reflective material. Not really a big deal because much of that reflected light in tents probably does not add a whole lot to the lumen total that your plant sees.

this is not true lumens are in fact additive, dont listen to this guy he has a strong opinion and nothign to back it up with

"Does not add a whole lot" is not the same as saying "does not add anything". You are really starting to embarrass yourself with this stalking thing.
