Light movers and quality?

setting up two flower rooms: both are 12'x17' and have one small airconditioner in each. I am going to focus on one room first and get it dialed in, then will work on the second. I will be focusing on quality first, then quantity.

Here are my initial thoughts;

Option #1. Run 4x1000watt on light movers with two lights tied and moving together. Figuring the lights would be 5' apart where they are connected. If I run the rail to 2.5' from the end of the plants (thinking 5x5 light coverage) so total coverage with 6' rail would be enough to leave walking/working room.

Option #2. Run 6x600watt on light movers like option #1, but shrink distances to compensate for 4x4 coverage.

Option #3. Run 4 fixed 1000watt
Option #4. Run 6 fixed 600watt

Again, I will be focused on quality first, with quantity running a close second! Any help, suggestions would be appreciated.

I have used light movers back in the day. For very certain situations they are OK but for the most part....if you can handle it....your much better off getting another lamp. Thats my basic opinion on movers and what ive found with them. Crops just grow different with them and usually not in a good way. I almost always suggest getting more lamps than a mover.

Slapping a halide on a mover for a uniform monocrop of clone preflowers in a veg room for sea of green style of grow is where ive found they work best.

Yup, i've used them in the past and the only time i've ever used them again was with a 1000w MH in veg. I was able to use the one 1000w MH for a room that is 6x8, vert parabolic hood.

In flower, having a light mover doesn't make up for thr fact that you likely don't have enough w/sq ft.
